The funeral home, at 31 Arch St., completed a full-scale renovation of the interior of its waiting room and two chapels as well as a newly paved parking lot and new landscaping. It has been at its current downtown site for decades.

Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, said in a statement. “We are proud of the tradition of service excellence Leo P. Gallagher established in 1928 and we continue to this day.”
For the ribbon-cutting, First Selectman Peter Tesei turned out along with Monsignor J. Peter Cullen, pastor of St. Michael’s Church; Marcia O’Kane, president and chief executive officer of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce; and state Rep. Mike Bocchino, R-150th District
