Greenwich Chamber Serving Up Info On CancerCare At Wine-And-Cheese Tasting

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is hosting a wine and cheese tasting event on Wednesday, March 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at The Greenwich Historical Society, Vanderbilt Center.

The cost is $15 for members, $25 for nonmembers.

Old Greenwich Fine Wine & Cheeses will be providing new pairings to taste as part of the refreshments at the event.

Those who attend the event will learn about CancerCare, its mission and its April 17 Greenwich 5K Walk/Run for Hope.

CancerCare is a national organization providing free support programs and services to help families, patients and caregivers manage the impact of a cancer diagnosis.

In the last year, CancerCare distributed $13 million in financial assistance to more than 21,000 people to help pay for transportation to treatment, childcare services, co-payment assistance and household bills.

The Greenwich Historical Society is at 39 Strickland Road, Cos Cob.
