The bulk of the storms is expected to arrive arrive at around 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Some of the storms could produce small hail, the NWS warns.
The chance of precipitation is 90 percent with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible during thunderstorms.
Tuesday night there is a chance of rain until 8 p.m, under mostly cloudy skies, and raw temperatures as low as 37 degrees, though winds will be light.
The sun will return Wednesday, heating up the air to around 60 degrees.
Overnight Wednesday will be clear, and frosty when the mercury will dip to around 36 degrees.
The rain may return on Thursday, when there's a slight chance after 9 a.m., then the rest of the day will be a sunny one, with a high near 57 degrees.
Rain could fall again Thursday night when the chance of precipitation is 30 percent, cooling things off to around 38 degrees.
