Snow Returns, But Fairfielder Comes Prepared

The calendar might say spring began Sunday, but Monday’s weather begs to differ. Snow showers have been falling on Fairfield all morning, but are set to give way to rain by the early afternoon. Either way, Christopher Santana was prepared. Bunched up tight in his winter coat, Christopher made sure to bring his umbrella with him this morning so he could stay dry while waiting for his bus on the Post Road.

So far, no snow has accumulated on Fairfield’s streets, but roads are still slick from this morning’s weather, so watch out if you head out driving. As of 11 a.m., no schools have announced plans to close early.

Fairfield’s skies are due to be sunny again tomorrow, with temperatures back in the low 50s. But we might not be done with the wintry weather yet. Forecasts predict another mix of snow and rain to hit Wednesday morning.
