In addition to the snow, the National Weather Service said residents should be prepared for high winds with a wind watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Officials said residents can expect winds from the West at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Residents should be prepared for downed power lines and trees that could lead to power outages and difficulty driving high-profile vehicles.
