Saturday Storm Could Bring Up To 4 Inches Of Snow To Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The latest cold snap in Fairfield County could be compounded by another shot of snow on Saturday night.

Fairfield could see another 4 inches of snow this weekend.

Snow will move into the area Saturday afternoon, with a high of about 29 degrees and minimal accumulation during the day. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Heavier snow and wind move into the area Saturday night with up to 4 inches possible. Wind gusts will be as high as 55 mph, with wind chills hovering around zero.

Sunday will begin with blowing snow and cloudy skies before gradually clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures will plummet again with a high of only 18 degrees.

Sunday night will be mostly clear with a low of 3-below-zero.

Monday won't be much better, with clear skies and a high of 18 degrees.
