Rain Will Be Moving Into Fairfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Cloudy skies will bring rain to Fairfield County starting Wednesday night and lasting through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will begin late Wednesday and early Thursday morning. There is a 50 percent chance of precipitation. 

Rain will be steady throughout Thursday with a high temperature of 56 degrees. The chance of precipitation is near 100 percent with up to a half-inch possible. 

Showers could linger in the area through early Friday morning with wind gusts of up to 17 mph. 

Skies are expected to clear by Saturday, but with high temperatures getting only into the 40s.
