Rain, Thunderstorms Head Toward Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Sunny skies during the day on Thursday have given way to clouds, showers and potential thunderstorms in Fairfield County overnight and into Friday, the National Weather Service says.

Wet weather will prevail on Friday with a high near 60 degrees. Thunderstorms are possible during the evening hours. The chance of rain is 80 percent.

The sun will return Saturday with a high of 52 along with wind gusts of up to 28 mph.

Winds will die down on Easter Sunday, leaving sunny skies and a high in the low 50s.
