Heavy Rain Will Be Moving Into Fairfield Thursday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Partly sunny skies will remain in Fairfield County for Wednesday before clouds and a chance of heavy rain threatens the region Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Thunderstorms and showers will roll into the area on Thursday in the afternoon, mainly after 3 p.m. High temperatures are expected to reach the low 80s with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.

Sunny skies return for Friday with a high in the mid-70s.
