Fairfield Will See Periods Of Rain Wednesday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County's long run with rain will continue on Wednesday, and that precipitation is expected to stick around until the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Steady drizzle will fall on the area through most of Wednesday. Temperatures will be unseasonably cool with a high of only 42 degrees. 

Rain will be likely throughout Thursday as well with a high of 42 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

The wet weather won't go anywhere for Friday, either, but temperatures are expected to rebound to spring-like conditions with a high in the low 60s. 

Leave your umbrella at home this weekend. The sun will return Saturday and Sunday with temperatures expected to be around 60 degrees.
