Fairfield Race Scheduled For Sunday Postponed To Dec. 22

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Saturday’s expected snow has forced two Fairfield County races to move their events to different days.

Gail’s Trail Run in Redding will now be run on Saturday, Dec. 14, while the Holiday Run For Toys in Fairfield will be pushed back to Sunday, Dec. 22.

Gail’s Trail Run begins at 8 a.m. at Huntington State Park in Redding. Registration for the 6-mile cross country race begins at 7 a.m. The race had been scheduled for Sunday. More information is available online.

The Holiday Run For Toys begins at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 22 at the Scandinavian Club in Fairfield. The race was pushed back one week due to the weather. Runners who can’t make the rescheduled date can donate a toy and drop it off at the Fairfield Police Department on Reef Road. Registration details are online.
