Cooling Rain To Come to Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield will finally get a break from high 80- and 90-degree temperatures Friday. Unfortunately, that relief will come with the threat of thunderstorms. The National Weather Service predicts tomorrow’s temperatures to hang around the mid-70s, with thunderstorms likely, especially between 4 and 7 p.m.

Forecasts say the heat will return for the rest of the weekend. Sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s will hit Fairfield Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
