A stretch of the Merritt Parkway has reopened Sunday afternoon following a serious crash that caused its closure for more than an hour.
The closure, reported around 2:45 p.m., occurred on the southbound lanes between Exit 49 (Connecticut 25) and Exit 48 (Connecticut 111/Main Street) in Bridgeport.
