Scooter Rider Critically Injured In Hit-Run CT Crash, Police Say
A Connecticut scooter rider suffered life-threatening when they were struck by an alleged hit-and-run driver. The incident took place in New Haven around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Officers responded to the intersection of Whalley Avenue and Amity Road and found the rider suffering from critical injuries, said Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police. Police in Connecticut are working to connect a large fight to the overdose death of a woman and a man who was stabbed multiple times. The incidents took place in New Haven around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 when the New Haven Fire Department responded to a call of an unconscious woman in the 300 block of Howard Avenue. Upon arrival, fire department personnel determined that the woman was suffering from an overdose. A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Fairfield County when it crashed into a pole is in serious condition. The collision took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the area of Railroad Avenue and Hancock Avenue. According to Sgt.
