Man Robs Woman At Gunpoint After Arranging On Social Meet To Meet In Fairfield, Police Say Social media helped police track down a suspect involved in an armed robbery scam in Fairfield County, police said. The Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a report of a robbery that took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, Hunyadi Avenue. Police said that a woman reported that she arranged to meet a man in the area to sell a phone through an online social media site.
