First Selectman Christopher Spaulding said the proclamation, declared on Monday, March 16, "aligns our town with the posture of the State of Connecticut and the Federal Government." William Pilato, 39, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 20, following an investigation into a crash that took place around 9 p.m. in the area of Cannon Road, said the Wilton Police Department. According to police, when officers arrived on the scene of the crash they found that a Chevy Silverado truck had run off the roadway, struck two utility poles, and continued for about 30 yards until it came to a stop.
