Ex-Greenwich Resident Nabbed For Another Deli Burglary: Smashed Front Door Window, Police Say
A former Connecticut resident and serial burglar faces more charges after breaking into another deli in Westchester, police announced.
Port Chester resident Cesar Salazar-Duque, age 36, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 7 in connection with a burglary that occurred at Sage Deli in Mamaroneck at 392 Palmer Ave., the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department announced.
According to the department, Salazar-Duque, who once lived in the Fairfield County town of Greenwich, allegedly broke the deli's front door window on Friday, Nov. 17.

Former Galleria Mall To Be Converted To Mixed-Use Residential, Retail Space In Westchester
Developers have revealed how they intend to transform the former Galleria Mall in Westchester, which was a mainstay in the county for over four decades.
The multi-billion plan was revealed by developers to the White Plains Common Council on Wednesday, Sept. 27, and entails a mixed-use residential, retail, and open space that would replace the 43-year-old vacant mall, which is located at 100 Main St. in downtown White Plains and closed in March 2023.

Tornado Watch Issued For Connecticut, With 60 MPH Wind Gusts, Hail Also Possible
As a slow-moving storm system barrels through the Northeast, a Tornado Watch has now been issued for much of the region until 3 p.m. Sunday, July 16.
It includes parts of southeastern New York -- Long Island, as well as Westchester, and Putnam counties -- as well as all eight counties in Connecticut, and the following counties in Massachusetts: Berkshire, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, and Worcester.
