Man, 31, Wanted For Forgery, Felonies Found Asleep At Wheel In Greenwich, Police Say A Long Island man found sleeping at the wheel of his vehicle in Fairfield County was later charged with being a fugitive from justice. Matthew Amato, 31, of West Islip, was found around 6:18 a.m., Thursday, April 25, in his 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the travel lane of Sound Shore Drive by Greenwich Police, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
