Westport Police Department Welcomes New Officers, Promotes Detective The Westport Police Department welcomed three new officers to its ranks during a ceremony on Monday, Feb. 26.  Additionally, Officer James Baker III was promoted to the rank of detective, after several retirements from the police force.
