CT Man Carrying A Crossbow, Beer On Street Nabbed By Police A Connecticut man walking on a city street with a crossbow and a beer was nabbed by patrol officers after receiving numerous 911 calls of a man carrying a rifle.  The incident occurred in New Haven County on Wednesday, June 12, around 5 p.m. on Main Street in Meriden. Jailed Shelton Man Calls Protected Victim 70 Times, Police Say A Shelton man behind bars for violating a protective order was arrested again while in jail for having contact with the protected person 70 times on the phone. Gordon Cole, age 27, was arrested on Tuesday, March 27 by Shelton Police for violation of a protective order and remained incarcerated on an additional $10,000 bond. Cole was previously arrested in Shelton in December 2022 for several domestic violence charges including seven counts of violation of a protective order, said Det. Man Charged With Violating Protective Order In Greenwich A 40-year-old turned himself in to police after learning of a warrant for his arrest in connection with allegedly violating a protective order. Alyson Moraes, of Port Chester, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 19, and charged with violation of a protective order and harassment, Greenwich Police said. According to police, in October police investigated a report that Moraes had violated a protective order by repeatedly contacting the victim in the order, police said. Moraes posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at later date.

Stamford Man Turns Himself In For Active Warrant In Greenwich A Stamford man srrendered to Greenwich Police on Monday for an active warrant for his arrest. Steven Mojica, 20, was arrested in connection with Dec. 3, 2018, incident in which he allegedly violated an order of protection, the arrest warrant said. He was charged with one count violation of a protective warrant and released on $1,000 bond.  Mojica is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Norwalk Man Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In Greenwich A Norwalk man was charged with violating a protective order after allegedly sending the victim an email. John E. Burns, 42, was busted on Thursday, Aug. 2, around 3:28 p.m. when Greenwich police responded to a private residence for a complaint of a violation of a protective order, said Lt. John Slusarz. An investigation revealed that Burns had contacted the victim through an email after the court order was served, he added. Burns was charged with violation of a court order and held on $1,000 bond which he was able to post.

Man Nabbed For Violating Protection Order, Threatening Victim In Wilton A 54-year-old area man was arrested for verbally threatening another person while intoxicated, according to the Wilton Police. Rusty L. McClintock, of Wilton, was arrested Saturday, June 16, after Wilton police responded to a 911 call and on arrival found McClintock, intoxicated and still threatening the victim, Lt. Robert Kluk said. He was arrested and charged with threatening and violation of a protective order. He is being held on $10,000 bond., Kluk said.

Mark Febres, 22, was charged Thursday, Feb. 15, with criminal attempt at murder, assault, three counts of risk of injury to a minor, home invasion and violation of a protective order, after breaking into his girlfriend's West Board Street home, police said.
