Fairfield County Man Arrested For Preventing Uber Driver From Leaving With Customer, Police Say
An area man has been arrested for allegedly preventing a person he had a domestic dispute with from leaving with an Uber driver.
Fairfield County resident Timothy Flay, age 23, of Norwalk, was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 14 by Darien Police for not allowing an Uber driver to leave with a paying customer, said Sgt. James Palmieri.
When Darien Police arrived on the scene, it was determined that after an argument with the victim, Flay was physically blocking the victim from leaving in an Uber vehicle, Palmieri said.

CT Man, Woman Charged With Assaulting Each Other With Protective Orders In Place
An area man and woman who both had protective orders against each other were arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with each other.
John Derry, 20, of Milford, and Jenaya Lambre, 21, of Stratford, were arrested on Monday, Nov. 2, for allegedly getting into an altercation in Milford with each other while they both have active orders of protection against each other, Milford Police said.
Lambre is also accused of pepper-spraying a male in close proximity to a juvenile in October 2020.
Derry was charged with violation of a protective order and breach of peace.

Man Nabbed For Violating Protection Order, Threatening Victim In Wilton
A 54-year-old area man was arrested for verbally threatening another person while intoxicated, according to the Wilton Police.
Rusty L. McClintock, of Wilton, was arrested Saturday, June 16, after Wilton police responded to a 911 call and on arrival found McClintock, intoxicated and still threatening the victim, Lt. Robert Kluk said.
He was arrested and charged with threatening and violation of a protective order. He is being held on $10,000 bond., Kluk said.
Bridgeport Man, 22, Repeatedly Stabbed Ex-Girlfriend, Stratford PD Says
Stratford police nabbed a Bridgeport man for attempted murder after he repeatedly stabbed his girlfriend, according to the Stratford Police.
Mark Febres, 22, was charged Thursday, Feb. 15, with criminal attempt at murder, assault, three counts of risk of injury to a minor, home invasion and violation of a protective order, after breaking into his girlfriend's West Board Street home, police said.
During the attack, Febres attacked the woman, stabbing her several times, before fleeing the scene, police said.
