Stamford Man Faces DUI Charge After Crossing Double Yellow Line On Route 7, Police Say A Stamford man was busted for impaired driving after police in Wilton spotted him swerving all over a busy roadway, nearly striking cars coming in both directions. Officers at the Greenwich Police Department received an emergency call from a concerned citizen of a driver in an Infinity that was driving on Route 8 (Danbury Road) and nearly striking other motorists. An officer on patrol was able to track down the driver - later identified as Stamford resident Vasyl Kotsiuba - who was spotted crossing the white fog line and double yellow line into oncoming traffic.
