Woman Extradited From Jamaica For 2022 Bridgeport Murder, Police Say
A woman wanted in connection with the 2022 murder of a Fairfield County man has been extradited from Jamaica.
On Thursday, Sept. 7, members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force took 39-year-old Iyana Reynolds into custody in Jamaica for the Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, murder of Andre Brown in Bridgeport.
Reynolds had an outstanding extraditable murder warrant out of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Brigeport Police.
Brown was found around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, after Bridgeport Police responded to 100 Marcel St. on the report of a party shot, Gilleran said.

Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Murder Of 29-Year-Old
A Fairfield County man has been charged in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man and the wounding of two others.
Joseph DeJesus, formerly known as Joseph Reyes, age 38, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the Saturday, Oct. 8 shooting death of Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
DeJesus was apprehended by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Bridgeport and Stratford Police Department, Gilleran added.

Man Wanted For Allegedly Killing Girlfriend In Fairfield County Found Dead From Suicide
A Fairfield County man considered armed and dangerous who was wanted for the alleged murder of his girlfriend was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Tennessee, following a standoff with police.
The standoff with Glenn Pettway, age 28, of Bridgeport, took place in Jackson, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 1, and Thursday, June 2.
Police were led to Pettway after receiving an anonymous tip that he was hiding out at a location in Jackson, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.

Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting Of Up-And-Coming CT Teen Rapper
A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of local rapper “YNT Juan” Garcia Bautista.
Travis Johnson, age 19, of Hartford, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Nov. 3, by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and Hartford detectives.
According to Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, Johnson was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The murder of Bautista, age 17, took place around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, Boisvert said.
