Body Found On Roadway In Redding Connecticut State Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area of a roadway in Fairfield County. The incident happened in Redding on Route 53 also known as Glen Road on Sunday, Feb. 18. According to Connecticut State Police, the department is actively investigating the find and working to identify the body. Redding Police say there is no threat to the public. Police did not reveal if the body was a man or a woman.  This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Body Found Floating Off Norwalk Coast Police are working to identify a man who was found floating in the Long Island Sound off the coast of Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk on Sunday, Oct. 29 around 3:30 p.m. The Norwalk Police Marine Unit located and recovered the deceased individual, said Norwalk Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts The Detective Bureau and The Office of the State Medical Examiner are currently investigating and trying to determine the identity.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Taranto at 203-854-3102.  This is a developing story. Man's Body Found Floating In Norwalk Harbor Police in are working to identify a man whose body was found floating in Norwalk Harbor. The incident took place around 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 27. According to Lt. Joe Dinho of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the harbor after receiving a report from a boater of a body floating in the water. Norwalk Police Marine Unit and Norwalk Fire Marine Unit responded to the location and recovered the dead man.  A preliminary investigation did not reveal signs of obvious injuries and the individual did not have any identification on him, Dinho said. Around 7 p.m., Thursday, April 8, a concerned citizen notified the Danbury Police Department of a possible body submerged in a retention pond at the entrance of 55 Mill Plain Road in Danbury.
