Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont’s general election campaign is in its first day, and he’s already been pushed to flag Republican nominee Bob Stefanowski’s ties to President Donald Trump, according to Tweets and multiple news reports. Stefanowski Upsets Boughton In Republican Primary Race For CT Governor

Obsitnik Could Take Court Action In Public Campaign Financing Standoff
Republican outsider Steve Obsitnik has been frozen out of public financing in his GOP primary campaign, but may file a court challenge. The 51-year-old tech entrepreneur from Westport is considering litigation against the state Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) according to media reports, as well as opting out of the voluntary clean-elections program should his application for $1.3 million get delayed.
