A raging fire tore through a Trumbull home early Saturday morning, Feb. 8, leaving one resident dead despite firefighters’ efforts to battle the intense blaze. The Long Hill Fire Department, along with Trumbull Center, Nichols, and Monroe Fire Departments, responded to a structure fire on Hitching Post Lane at 3:17 a.m., fire officials said in a news release. Multiple Lightning Strikes Damage Homes In Trumbull
Some Fairfield County residents received quite a scare on Wednesday morning, when lightning rained down from the skies, striking several area structures and a car. Members of the Nichols Fire Department were dispatched to Round Ridge Trail in Trumbull shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 9, where there was a report of a lightning strike and the smell of smoke in a local home. Raging Fire Heavily Damages Home In Fairfield County
A Trumbull home was heavily damaged Tuesday during a blaze that firefighters at first thought a resident was trapped inside. The blaze was reported to the Trumbull Center Fire Department around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at 14 Chatham Drive for a possible structure fire, said officials with the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company No. 1.
