Mississippi Man Caught With Loaded Gun During Greenwich Traffic Stop, Police Say A man from Mississippi has been charged after police say he was caught with a loaded gun in a Greenwich traffic stop. Greenwich Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a driver commit an infraction in the area of West Putnam Avenue and Byram Road on Thursday, July 25 around 9:30 a.m. During officers’ interview with the driver, identified as Everette Worthington, 38, of Silver City, Mississippi, police say they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
