26-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Crash On CT Roadway A 26-year-old man was killed and two others seriously injured during a two-vehicle head-on crash on a Connecticut roadway. The crash took place in Windham County around 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7 in the Town of Brooklyn on Route 6. According to the Connecticut State Police, a Chevrolet Colorado was traveling east on Route 6 when a Jeep Wrangler traveling in the opposite direction crossed over the double-yellow line and hit the Chevrolet head-on. CT Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash A Connecticut man was killed after his vehicle traveled off the roadway hitting a utility pole and a mailbox. Windham County resident Michael Steele, age 40, of the Town of Brooklyn, was killed around 7 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26 on Wauregan Road in Brooklyn, said the Connecticut State Police. An investigation revealed that Steele, who was traveling southbound on Wauregan Road, traveled off the roadway at which time he struck a tree and telephone pole causing the vehicle to roll over, state police said. Steele was pronounced dead at the scene.
