19: CT Limits Gatherings To 10 People Amid Rise In Cases, Rollback To Phase 2.1
With COVID-19 cases on the rise throughout the country, restrictions are being tightened in Connecticut to help curtail the spread of the virus. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced that as the state rolls back into “Phase 2.1,” gatherings will be limited to no more than 10 people as the number of municipalities in the COVID-19 “red zone” continues to rise. All Walmart Stores Will Be Closed This Thanksgiving Day
Bad news for those looking to get an early start to Black Friday. All Walmart stores will be closed Thanksgiving Day this year, the company announced, noting its employees have stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sam's Clubs stores will also be closed, the company said. Walmart hasn't yet announced times for Black Friday shopping.

Happy Ending: Trespassing Complaints Leads To Thanksgiving Dinner For Man In Norwalk
After responding to a Thanksgiving Day trespassing complaint, the Norwalk Police Department helped a man get a hot meal rather than arresting him. Officers Kelly Had and Ariel Martinez responded to the initial complaints of a trespasser inside the location.
