Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting Of Up-And-Coming CT Teen Rapper
A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of local rapper “YNT Juan” Garcia Bautista.
Travis Johnson, age 19, of Hartford, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Nov. 3, by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and Hartford detectives.
According to Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, Johnson was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The murder of Bautista, age 17, took place around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, Boisvert said.

14-Year-Old Turns Himself In After Shooting At Danbury Mall
A 14-year-old Fairfield County boy has turned himself in to police as being the shooter at an area mall that left a teenage girl shot in the chest.
The shooting took place around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, near the entrance to Macy's at Danbury Fair Mall during a confrontation between two groups of teens, authorities said.
One person, described as a tall, thin male with dreadlocks who may be in his early teens, took out a gun and fired a single shot, which struck the teenager, Danbury Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour said.

A Fairfield County woman convicted of soliciting two men to fatally gun down her ex-husband has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.
Larise King, age 36, of Bridgeport, was convicted in May of hiring her cousin and his friend to kill her ex-husband, Dathan "Dae Dae" Gray, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Tracy Lee Dayton, on Wednesday, June 30.
King, who drove the getaway car during the 2019 murder, is not eligible for parole, the judge ruled.

A grandmother has been arrested in connection with the death of her 1-year-old grandchild.
Cora Brandon, age 60, of Danbury, was arrested by Danbury Police on Wednesday, May 26, for the Wednesday, March 17, death of the child.
The investigation into the death began when the Danbury Police Department were summoned to the Danbury Hospital for the untimely passing of the child, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams.

A contractor has been arrested for allegedly stealing items from one of his clients in Fairfield County.
Michael Mando, 29, of Shelton, was arrested in December, for the incident which took place in October 2020, in Fairfield, said Lt. Antonio Granata.

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Fairfield County mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos, took the stand in a civil lawsuit filed by her mother claiming he owes her more than $2.5 million.
While on the stand Tuesday, Dec. 3, Dulos testified that his late father-in-law, Hillard Farber, was like a second father to him and had loaned him money to help start his luxury home building business, the Fore Group Inc.

Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Fairfield County Neighbor's Daughter
A local man was sentenced to five in prison for sexually assaulting his neighbor's daughter after contacting her on Snapchat.
Marlon Reyes-Delgado, 42, of Bridgeport was sentenced to 10 years in state prison, to 10 years, suspended after he serves five years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation, said Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney C. Robert Satti Jr.
