Suspect Nabbed In Connection To Gunshots Fired From Moving Vehicle Incident In Darien
Police have announced an arrest in connection to an incident in which shots were fired from a moving vehicle in Darien.
That incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 1 on West Avenue when numerous gunshots were fired, possibly at another vehicle.
Through investigative efforts of the Darien Police Department Detective Bureau, a suspect was quickly identified.
An arrest warrant was applied for and granted by a judge of the Stamford Superior Court on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

$50,000 Reward Being Offered In Fatal Shooting Case
Police are offering a $50,000 reward and asking the public for help locating the killer or killers of a local man who was shot and killed while sitting in a vehicle in Stratford.
Eduardo Concepcion, 30, of Bridgeport, was killed around 2:20 a.m., on Jan. 12, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
According to police, Concepcion was sitting in a vehicle in on Regency Terrace when two unknown assailants approached and a verbal argument ensued.
At some point during the argument, several shots were fired into the car killing Concepcion, Eannotti said.

Fairfield County Drug Dealer Sentenced For Overdose Death, DEA Says
A 43-year-old man has pleaded guilty in connection with the heroin overdose death of a 27-year-old woman.
Talvin Hinton, of Bridgeport, has been sentenced to five years in prison and four years post-release monitoring following his plea, said DEA Bridgeport.
The incident took place on Sept. 23, 2017, when the Stratford Police Department responded to the report of a fatal overdose, the DEA said.
Following the woman's death, the DEA, along with the Stratford Police Department conducted an investigation into the woman's death.
