Covid-19: Norwalk Public Schools Schedule Closure All Norwalk Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, March 12, in order for the district to prepare for a potential coronavirus outbreak. Norwalk Schools Superintendent Steven Adamowski made the announcement to parents as the state's second coronavirus was confirmed. During the closure, Adamowski said the district will be taking the next step to organize lesson plans and materials to continue student learning at home, in the unlikely event of a long-duration closure. To have the Norwalk Board of Education re-examine how grade point average (GPA) is calculated at Norwalk High School.
