Student-athletes in Connecticut received more clarity on what the spring sports season is going to look like on Thursday as the state moves forward through the COVID-19 pandemic. Services Set For Beloved Teacher From Fairfield County Killed In Storm
Services have been set for a Westchester native, beloved teacher in the North Salem Central School District and former Western Connecticut State softball standout who died Tuesday, May 15 when a tree hit the car she was driving near her home in New Fairfield during a fierce storm that swept through the area. Lauren June Svendsen, 41, spent 13 years teaching at North Salem Middle/High School.
