Move Your Car: Bridgeport Declares Snow Emergency In Advance Of Storm BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — In anticipation of the winter storm bearing down on the Northeast, Mayor Joe Ganim today declared a snow emergency for the city beginning at noon Jan. 3. To allow for plowing, no parking is allowed on snow emergency streets, and only even side of the street parking is allowed on all other roadways.
