Duo Caught Stealing From Stop & Shop In Darien: Police
Two people face larceny charges after attempting to steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a Stop & Shop grocery store in Fairfield County, police said. The arrests stemmed from an incident that happened on Wednesday, May 31 around 2:15 p.m., when police were sent to the Stop & Shop store at 25 Old Kings Hwy North in Darien for a reported shoplifting incident, according to Darien Police Sergeant Dan Skoumbros. Two Women From Fairfield County Accused Of Stealing $230 Worth Of Items From Walmart
Two local women have been arrested for allegedly stealing merchandise from a Walmart in the area. Officers in New Haven County responded to a report of theft at the Walmart located at 1365 Boston Post Road in Milford. Two Fairfield County residents - Aisha Thomas, age 44, of Bridgeport, and Tatiana Long, age 27, of Bridgeport - were accused of stealing about $230 worth of merchandise. Police said the women face charges of sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.

Man Steals Credit Cards, Makes Purchases While Working In Wilton, Police Say
A man who was working in Wilton is accused of stealing credit cards and then making purchases with them. Last October, a victim reported that a wallet had been stolen from their a while working at a residence on Chessor Lane, said the report. A police investigation revealed that the victim's credit cards were later fraudulently used at several merchants in the North Haven and Meriden, according to police. Woman Wanted In Danbury Apprehended In Putnam County
A woman from Hopewell Junction has been arrested in Putnam County after she allegedly had an outstanding warrant out of Fairfield County, police say. A Putnam County Sheriff Deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on State Route 312 in the Town of Southeast on Friday, March 1 around 7:30 p.m. The deputy pulled the vehicle over and determined through a computer check that the driver, 31-year-old Courtney Campbell, had an active arrest warrant out of Danbury. Stamford Man Stole $196 Worth Of Items At Whole Foods In Darien, Police Say
A Stamford man is facing larceny charges after Darien Police say he stole nearly $200 worth of items from Whole Foods. A manager at the Whole Foods store located at 150 Ledge Road notified police that she witnessed a customer, 31-year-old Luis Rivera, attempting to exit the store without paying for all of his groceries. The manager said she followed Rivera to the parking lot to confront him, and he allegedly claimed that he would return to the store to pay.
