Two Saved After Boat Crash On Housatonic Two boaters out for a day of fun on the water were rescued after their fishing boat lost power and drifted into rocks on the break wall of the Housatonic River. The rescue took place around 11 a.m. Monday when firefighters from the Stratford Fire Department received a 911 call from the two men, said Assistant Chief Mike Camperlengo.
