Gaspard Nicolas, age 31, was arrested in Westport on Wednesday, July 5, after police responded to a report of a man attempting to enter cars and vandalizing others at the Saugatuck Train Station, said Lt. Police Search For Missing Fairfield County 21-Year-Old A Fairfield County man who has been missing for four days is the subject of a manhunt after his family reported he had not returned from an outing. Westport police are searching for Anthony Cochrane, age 21, of Westport who was dropped off near the Saugatuck Train Station around 3:45 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 6, and was last seen going into Romanacci's. Man Charged With Attempted Theft Of Engine From Construction Site In Westport, Police Say A 33-year-old Westport man has been charged in connection with allegedly attempting to steal an engine from a construction site. Justin Bitar was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 16, in connection with attempted theft that took place on Sept. 10, 2019, from a construction site near the Saugatuck Train Station, Westport Police said.
