Man Caught Vandalizing, Breaking Into Cars At Westport Train Station, Police Say A man was charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly vandalized several vehicles at a train station in  Fairfield County. Gaspard Nicolas, age 31, was arrested in Westport on Wednesday, July 5, after police responded to a report of a man attempting to enter cars and vandalizing others at the Saugatuck Train Station, said Lt. Police Search For Missing Fairfield County 21-Year-Old A Fairfield County man who has been missing for four days is the subject of a manhunt after his family reported he had not returned from an outing. Westport police are searching for Anthony Cochrane, age 21, of Westport who was dropped off near the Saugatuck Train Station around 3:45 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 6, and was last seen going into Romanacci's. Man Charged With Attempted Theft Of Engine From Construction Site In Westport, Police Say A 33-year-old Westport man has been charged in connection with allegedly attempting to steal an engine from a construction site. Justin Bitar was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 16, in connection with attempted theft that took place on Sept. 10, 2019, from a construction site near the Saugatuck Train Station, Westport Police said. New Charges For Man Accused Of Leaving Decapitated Chickens In Westport The 48-year-old man facing charges for dumping headless chickens in a box in the front yard of a Fairfield County home is facing new charges, police said. In March and April, four packages containing headless chickens were left in the yard of a Franklin Street residence in Westport.
