A man has been arrested after allegedly filming an 18-second video while driving his classic Chevy Nova at 133 miles per hour in Fairfield County. The incident began on Tuesday, March 28, when the state police became aware of videos posted to Instagram and Facebook showing the driver of an unknown Chevrolet traveling at speeds of approximately 133 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 7 in Norwalk. An award-winning Connecticut hair salon, the first specialty color salon to open in Fairfield County, is opening a second location in the place of a salon forced to close during the pandemic. Greenwich's Color Cafe, owned by Kim Sclafani, has won Moffly Media's Best of Gold Coast Awards for each of the eight years it has been in business. A disturbance in Norwalk with a man armed with a knife at an AT&T store and then a carjacking ended with the suspect being shot to death by police. The incident began around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the AT&T store on Route 7 in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. Teen Killed In Route 7 Crash Remembered As Charming Aspiring Chef
A Westchester teen who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 7 in Norwalk is being remembered as a charming, aspiring chef just days after he was laid to rest. Nathan Spiro, 19, of Bedford, died on May 1 following the April 30 crash and just two weeks before his 20th birthday.
