State Police Probe Officer-Involved Shooting In Cheshire Connecticut State Police have launched an investigation into an officer-involved shooting involving the Cheshire Police Department that occurred during a domestic incident over the weekend. Cheshire Police officers responded to the incident on Fairway Drive of Route 10 in Cheshire at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 22. Upon arrival, Cheshire police officers found that a male suspect was armed with a handgun and refused to comply with the Cheshire officer’s commands, state police said.
