Driver Who Fled After McDonald's Drive-Thru Crash Under Influence, Police Say
An area man who almost hit a police officer after fleeing from a crash in a McDonald's parking lot was arrested for alleged DUI. Robert Sutton, 45, of Stratford was arrested around 12:42 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, after Milford Police responded to a report of a crash in the drive-thru lane of the McDonald's at 439 Bridgeport Avenue, said Milford Police. When officers arrived on the scene Sutton was still in the parking lot, but seeing officers attempted to leave, almost striking an officer.
