Stamford Man Waiting For Uber Fights With Darien Cops Investigation Incident, Police Say
A Stamford man has been charged with assault after police say he fought with officers while waiting for a Uber. Darien Police say they responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Center Street on Sunday, Sept. 22 around 2:45 a.m. The victim allegedly told police that he had been pushed, punched and choked by the suspect. Further investigation led to the discovery of a man that matched the description of the suspect, identified as Robby Tuttle, 28, of Stamford, sitting on a bench next to CVS on Post Road.
