The male bear attacked the boy in Litchfield County on Sunday, Oct. 16, as he played in his grandparent's yard in the town of Morris. An alert has been issued by officials in Connecticut following multiple attempted coyote attacks on dogs and their owners. A mother and her young son attacked by a raccoon at a school bus stop are undergoing a series of rabies shots. The bobcat that attacked a golfer in Connecticut tested positive for rabies. The man was attacked by the animal at approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 18 while golfing at the seventh hole of the Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic. A bat found inside a New Canaan home that tested positive for rabies is one of six bats that have been captured inside town residences since July 1.
