Closure For Construction Scheduled On Busy Roadway In Darien A busy roadway will be closed to through traffic in Fairfield County during construction. The closure on Old Kings Highway in Darien on the bridge over Stony Brook River will run from Tuesday, Aug. 15, through Sunday, Aug. 27.  All residences will remain accessible throughout the construction period, the Darien Department of Public Works said. Danbury Begins Annual Attack Against Potholes To combat the annual issue of potholes and to keep roads safe and smooth, the City of Danbury has hired Patch Management Inc. to fill potholes across town.
