Multiple Connecticut fourth-grade students were hurt in an I-84 school bus crash while on the way to a field trip, authorities said. Students from Vernon Public Schools were taken to the hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 20, after the 9: 15 a.m. crash on I-84 West near exit 63 in Manchester, the school district said. A 13-year-old Connecticut girl was arrested Thursday morning, Sept. 19, after police say they traced a threat made against a school to her. It's just another example of an alarming trend of people — often students — making threats of violence online toward local schools.
