Ex-Rescue Group President From Fairfield Charged After Five Dogs' Deaths The past president of a  dog rescue group has been charged with five counts of animal cruelty following the discovery of five dead dogs in her home. A warrant for the arrest of Heidi Lueders, 31, of Fairfield, was issued after the discovery was made around 3:59 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, when members of the Fairfield Police Department responded to Prince Street for a report of animal cruelty, said Fairfield Police Lt. Lt.
