Planet Fitness Opens New Location In Danbury Gym-goers can sign up for a membership at an all-new Planet Fitness location in Fairfield County.  The new gym, located at 19 Backus Ave. in the Danbury Square shopping mall, hosted a grand opening event on Thursday, Feb. 16 to celebrate the new 20,000 square feet location.  The new gym will feature state-of-the-art cardio machines and strength equipment, and is meant to provide a clean environment for people "of all fitness levels," Planet Fitness officials said.  The new location will be open seven days a week. Planet Fitness Manager In CT Accused Of Filming Naked Man From Ceiling A manager of a Connecticut Planet Fitness has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly filming a naked patron from the ceiling with a cellphone.  The incident occurred in New Haven County at the fitness center in Naugatuck on Thursday, June 30. According to the Naugatuck Police, the victim informed the investigating officer that when he exited the tanning booth to go into the changing area, he looked up towards the ceiling and noticed a man holding a cell phone recording him as he was still unclothed.  The victim later identified the man who was filming as the store …

Man Who Took Police On High-Speed Pursuit Nabbed With Glock, Pot, Police Say A man who took Connecticut State Police on a pursuit was arrested by police after another pursuit. The incident began in New Haven County around 9:37 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 26, when a trooper assigned was patrolling I-84 in the City of Waterbury when he spotted a white 2018 Nissan Altima committing several traffic violations.  The trooper initiated a traffic stop and the operator, identified as Lukequann Bunch, 26, of Meriden, of the Nissan engaged troopers in a pursuit traveling through the traffic light at the bottom of the Exit 25A ramp.
