The incident took place in Fairfield around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 in the southbound lanes of the highway. The Fairfield Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle crash with injuries at Exit 21 and Mill Plain Road, said Fairfield Fire Department officials. Man, 54, Killed After Pickup Truck Crashes Into House In Trumbull A 54-year-old pickup truck driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday night, May 3 in Trumbull. A pickup truck and sedan were involved in the crash, with the pickup truck leaving the road and striking a private home on Daniels Farm Road near Heather Field Road at around 7 p.m., Trumbull Police said. No one was injured inside the residence and the home sustained only minor damage, police said.
