Police Search For Suspect In Attempted Abduction Of Young Girl In Bridgeport Police are asking the public for help in locating a man who allegedly attempted to abduct a child from a school bus stop and attempted to assault the young girl in Bridgeport. The incident took place around 8 a.m., on Thursday, May 30, when Bridgeport Police received a 911 report of a possible abduction of a 9-year-old girl, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
