Man Dies After Being Struck By 2 Vehicles While Crossing CT Highway A man has died after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross a busy Connecticut highway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in the area of 1966 North Broad St. in Meriden. Pair Of 25-Year-Olds Killed In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash, Police Say Two 25-year-old Fairfield County residents were killed in a crosswalk by an alleged hit-and-run driver. The incident took place in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. The initial investigation revealed that two pedestrians, both 25-year-old Stamford residents, who were believed to be in the crosswalk, were walking westbound across Washington Boulevard at Main Street when they were hit by a 2022 Mercedes, said Sgt. 28-Year-Old UConn Grad Student Struck, Killed By Car In Crosswalk, State Police Say Connecticut State Police are asking witnesses to a crash that left a UConn researcher and graduate student dead after he was struck by a car. Tolland County resident Nhuong Nguyen, age 28, was killed around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Mansfield while walking in the crosswalk on South Eagleville Road, said the Connecticut State Police. A westbound 2008 Hyundai Elantra struck Nguyen just west of Eastwood Road, state police said.
