UMass Student Seriously Injured In Hit-Run Crash Police are appealing to the public for help in finding the driver of an SUV who failed to stop after striking a student on the UMass Amherst campus. Body Found In Connecticut River ID'd As Missing College Student A body found in the Connecticut River has been identified as a college student who was reported missing last year. The body of Wasique Hasan, age 21, of Easthampton, Massachusetts, was discovered in Hampshire County Friday, May 21, by a boater in Hadley, said the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. No foul play is suspected. Police Investigating After Man's Body Found In Connecticut River Police launched an investigation after a man’s body was found by a boater in the Connecticut River in Western Mass.
