State Police Needs Your Help Identifying Suspect In Incident At CT Home Depot
A wanted suspect is at large following an incident in the parking lot of an area Home Depot and police are asking the public's help in locating him. Connecticut State Police released info on the case on Sunday, April 25. An off-duty trooper was flagged down by a concerned citizen in Hartford County in the parking lot of the Enfield Home Depot on Thursday, March 15, at approximately 11:55 a.m. The concerned citizen advised the trooper that there was a male slumped over the steering wheel in his parked vehicle near where the trooper was parked. Do You Drive One? These Are The Most Stolen Vehicles In Nation
Do you drive one of the most frequently stolen vehicles? The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) released a brand-new report highlighting which vehicles are most likely to be targeted by potential car thieves. According to the report, the Dodge Charger HEMI and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat topped the list, coming in at five times more thefts of any other models produced between 2016 and 2018. Fire Risk Leads To Recall Of More Than 200K Nissan Cars, SUVs
Nissan is recalling more than 200,00 vehicles that could get a little too hot to handle. Nissan announced the recall of 215,000 vehicles that may have anti-lock brake problems that may prompt actuator pumps to leak brake fluid onto internal circuit boards, causing fires. The recall is similar to one in 2016. The recall comes after Nissan received a complaint in January about an illuminated ABS warning light in a car that had been repaired during the 2016 recall. Man, 46, Killed In Hit-Run Crash In Fairfield County
Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in an apparent hit-and-run after colliding with a car in Bridgeport. Police confirmed that Edilberto Delgado, 46, died from injuries he sustained after colliding with a car Sunday night near the intersection of Mountain Grove Road and Fairfield Avenue. After Delgado struck the car, police said that the driver sped away. A passerby saw Delgado on the ground and contacted paramedics, though he was ultimately pronounced dead.
